Have your next work retreat at Waimanaaki!
It’s an incredibly affordable way of getting away from it all, while offering fantastic opportunities for swimming, diving and surfing, quad biking, paintball, fishing and more. Riversdale also provides a great golf course, tennis courts and the beach store.
We’ve had St John’s use our facilities to run crisis simulations to train their staff, conferences for Drug and Alcohol workers, retreats for local fire brigades, and more.
If you’re looking to reward your staff with an unforgettable weekend of activities, and provide a fun time with mates while building teamwork bonds, then Waimanaaki will do just that.
Possible activities include:
Trampoline, Table Tennis, Slug Guns, Volleyball, Soccer and Rugby.
Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Mountain Biking, Surf Kayaking, Golf, Tennis, Hiking, Fishing Charters, Farm Visits, Orienteering, Quad Bikes, Kayaking, Fishing, Paintball, Archery.
Because safety is vital, some activities are subject to environmental and tidal conditions and the availability of instructors.
I organised an NZQA course, run by NZ Seafood Industry Training Organisation, for members of Kauhungunu Coastal Hapu Collective.
All the kai without exception was just awesome and everyone commented on how well fed they were and how welcoming you and the whanau were towards them.
The tutors were so impressed with the facilities and the hassle-free atmosphere. Most of the hui they hold are on marae and many don’t meet the health and safety conditions required, and toilet and sleeping conditions are not ideal, so many times, they stay off site at night. Being able to stay at Waimanaaki with all the whanau was good for them and of course they just love your whanau and Riversdale.
